70s & 80s RALEIGH TWENTY SHOPPER FRONT WIRE BASKET NEW REPRODUCTION READY TO FIT

• Raleigh first produced the raleigh twenty in 1968 and the shopper version followed a little later, with its front carrier and this detachable wire basket is was a winner and is loved today by raleigh enthusiasts & lovers of 70s British bikes all over the world.
• We had a few raleigh made new old stock shopper baskets & when we ran out people were devastated so we opened the mould (at considerable cost) and have produced these replicas.
• Made as the original wire front basket that clips on & off the front carrier on Raleigh Twenty Shopper bikes made from 1968 to around 1984.
• You are buying a new basket to the same specification as to the one that were fitted at the factory except the original had a rolled top and these new ones do not (please see the pictures).
• The basket measures same as the original 12 x 9 x 9 , which is 32cm x 24cm x 25cm (all sizes approx).
• Steel mesh with a white coated finish.
• Comes complete with carry handle.
• The base of the basket is made to fit the original mounting bracket on the shopper carrier (sadly we currently do not have any carriers in stock).
