The Maxxis Raver, our go to tyre for gravel racing, now has an extra edge with the introduction of the companys new compound, HYPR-X. Combining the best technology from two of Maxxis existing compounds, the low-rolling-resistance HYPR for road and the race-winning MaxxSpeed for mountain, HYPR-X will deliver 19% better cornering traction and 25% less rolling resistance.

A seemingly small but significant change is the use of a different source for the 120 TPI casing. The tougher new nylon greatly improves puncture protection in the tread area without negatively impacting ride feel or adding weight. All specs feature our legendary EXO Protection in the sidewall to resist cuts and abrasions. And, of course, all specs are tubeless ready.

The Reaver’s diamond knurling center tread is low and fast but features meaty side knobs for consistent cornering traction. Choose the Reaver when off-road speed is priority number one.
