• Really hard to find these 28 wheels that were fitted to the huge ladies & mens roadster bikes make in the 1930s 1950s (poss before & after)
• You can choose a, front, a rear or a pair of steel chrome plated 26x 1 Westwood rim wheels
• Ideal for a vintage traditional bike or a modern Dutch bike with rod or roller brake (for Dutch bikes treble check the size is correct modern 26 is different, you must have 26 (584) tyres)
• 26 x 1 1/2″ chrome rim with 36 spokes
• These chrome finish rims are not highly polished chrome so work very well on bikes made all those years ago
• These wheels are built to take 26 x 1 1/2 (584) tyres (these are not suitable for 26 MTB etc if in doubt please ask before purchase)
• Chrome hubs
• Standard size valve hole
• Front hub; 100mm old with 5/16 axle
• Rear hub; 110mm old with 3/8 axle
• These are designed for use on old fashion style bikes that use rod brakes (also known as roller lever brakes) so these wheels cannot be used on bikes with cable operated bikes (if in doubt ask before you buy)
