The ziggy link-equipped Dreadnought GX is Forbidden’s ready-to-rock mixed wheel size brawler which takes the corner slaying credentials of the Druid GX and applies them to a platform that’s ready for anything. Featuring Forbidden’s signature ‘On Ride’ proportional geometry not only ensures a consistent ride characteristic regardless of size or stature but also amplifies what the dreadnought can do on the trail.

Separated by more than just a 27.5 rear wheel, the Dreadnought GX goes further, knocking 0.4 degrees off the head angle and dropping the bottom bracket by 6mm compared to it’s full 29er variant. EVERY BODY DESERVES THE SAME RIDE: Chainstay length on the Dreadnought grows by 14mm for every size in the range to ensure that all riders get the same feel, stability and centered riding position regardless of framesize.

ZIGGY LINK COMPATIBLE

Mullet curious or a die-hard convert, the Dreadnought shares the same Rate Control Linkage system as its little brother, the Druid, and therefore accepts our corner slaying conversion kit, also known as Ziggy Link.

CABLE ROUTING

We dont discriminate against rightys or leftys and our adaptable cable routing allows you to neatly route the Dreadnoughts cables and hoses no matter where in the world you come from or with what hand you operate your rear brake with.

REAR SHOCK COMPATIBILITY

The Dreadnought comes equipped with either a custom-tuned Push ElevenSix, EXT Storia Lok V3 or Fox X2 shock, but if your heart is set on something else, well have you covered soon as we add more options, including custom-tuned RockShox and hlins units in due course.

WATER BOTTLE FITMENT

Even our smallest Dreadnought frame size can fit a full-size 26oz water bottle, regardless of your rear shock reservoir. Remember, hydration is your friend, but sweaty backs most definitely are not.

FRAME PROTECTION

A quiet bike is a fast bike and a clean bike is less prone to problems, so we developed a full suite of custom frame protection to keep the noisy bits quiet, the hard to clean bits free from crud and that precious carbon protected from flying debris.
