Starting out cycling in the 1980’s meant that every time we visited the local bike shop (Ridge Racing on Holdenhurst Road, Bournemouth) there was a poster on the wall featuring the imposing figure of Francesco Moser thundering across the cobbles during Paris-Roubaix whilst wearing this iconic Sansonteam cap.

Whilst the team jersey featured both the Gelati Sanson and Campagnolologos across the chest, howeverwith the cap you get this wonderful tri-coloured ribbon through the centre.
