Simplex 70’s 80’s Vintage Racing Bike Single Gear Lever Shifter Stem Fit French

• Simplex handlebar stem mount,racing/ sports bike gear lever ( shifter )
• We think this must date back to late seventies early eighties
• non index as index did not exist in the days these were made
• Simplex were a well known french gear component manufacturer
• They are suitable to use on 5, 6 speed rear mechs
• The handlebar stem bracket is for 22.2 stem size. The bracket is stamped 21.8, that is the minimum it can be used for. I have tried on a 22.2 and it fits fine
• Supplied with inner wire
• Plastic lever body with simplex logo
• Ideal for someone building a really original bike
