The Topsport VlaanderenBaloise professional cycling team is a based in Belgium and is a development team for young riders that aims to help them step up from the UCI Continental races to UCI WorldTour events.

When they are given a wildcard entry toWorldTour events, their riders often feature in the early breaks, to try and grab some attention for themselves and also the team.

In the 2014 edition of Paris-Tours, Topsport Vlaanderen team rider Jelle Wallays went on to win netting him acontract with Lotto-Soudal.
